And, within the span of a few novels, Oliver has quickly established herself as an award-winning author. Her newest novel, Road to Elysium, is inspired by true events and addresses topics relevant to today’s social and political atmosphere. Kay A. Oliver, a dynamic storyteller holding degrees in Radio/TV/Film from California State University, Fullerton, and an MBA in Business. With over 3 decades in entertainment, spanning studios and TV stations, she produced, wrote and directed films.

Defying gender biases and the notion that female-centric stories lack marketability in Hollywood, Oliver took the leap in become an author, championing women's resilience in her novels.   Kay Oliver is a multifaceted entertainment professional with a career that shines like a constellation in the Hollywood sky. Her journey began in 1987, where she cut her teeth in the bustling world of television news, making waves at local TV stations, and setting the stage for her meteoric rise in the industry.  A pivotal moment came when Kay joined the ranks of Universal Studios, where she served as both a material control analyst and a Legal Assistant. Her contribution in clearing feature films for the silver screen was nothing short of legendary. During her illustrious tenure at Universal, she managed to achieve the remarkable feat of earning her master’s in business finance, solidifying her status as a true Renaissance woman of the entertainment world.  But the story doesn't end there. Kay's star continued to ascend as she embarked on an exciting chapter at DreamWorks S.K.G. Studios, where she played a pivotal role in overseeing the creation of Consumer Products for the international market. Her influence reverberated across borders, leaving an indelible mark on the global entertainment landscape.
